What you see is what you get with Fran Madaraki. Sure, she’s aware that she looks like the creation of the modern Prometheus but that doesn’t faze her in the slightest. Fran is proud to be one of the byproducts of Dr. Noamitsu Madaraki and is committed to advancing his life’s work. Not being brought into this world inorganically, there is a slight detachment between her and the rest of society. Even though Fran fortunately is not shunned by the rest of the world, there is no real aim for societal acceptance. She goes to school not to be a part of society but to have a better understanding of the human condition. Contrary to her passive attitude however she upholds a strong ethical obligation to preserve life. It’s the reason why she disapproves of her little sister, Veronica to go off on her “killing sprees”. But let’s talk about her “code of ethics” for a minute…

For Fran, preservation of organic life presupposes scientific advancement. While Veronica was created to protect Dr. Madaraki’s work, her hands are meant to not harm others. Even though her experiments do bend (and break) the Hippocratic Oath, she’s fully committed to solving medical conundrums. She is the kind of scientist that is in it to further progress science as opposed to making large amounts of profits. Sure, the operations she conducts may be a bit pricey but she understands if someone really can’t afford it, especially in cases of medical urgency.

Even though Fran is a genius that is unlike any other but she doesn’t let that get all to her head. Fran doesn’t think she is above everyone else nor does she look down upon others. It’s quite the opposite; Fran gets along well with others and is more than willing to cooperate with her fellow colleagues and/or peers. She’s also the type that doesn’t bask in the success in her work. Fran will just solve one problem, help a client then move on.

While she does inherit leadership qualities, Fran is the kind of person that would be okay to work behind the scenes and not get any credit for it. Even as far as someone literally taking her work, Fran wouldn’t have any qualms or hard feelings about it. She looks at it as an opportunity to retrieve data from a different variable and control. In general, it’s really difficult to anger Fran. You might see her slightly miffed when she catches Veronica killing robbers but it’s rare to see her lose her cool. Even in moments of peril, Fran will take them on with a cool head on her shoulders.

Fran does come off as aloof but she has her emotional moments every now and then. When it comes to human relationships, she has a real soft-spot for them especially when it deals with ~true love~! It’s probably the only time you see her bask in the success of her work whether it’s reuniting a family together or bringing lovers closer together (literally or figuratively). Fran has a tendency romanticize romance. The thought of helping a couple makes her heart flutter. If she’s taking a breaking from her work, you would probably find her sitting back, drinking a cup of tea and reading a cheesy romance novel.

Fran can do just about anything with science by her side. She can give a tummy tuck, make you literally look 20-years younger, turn burned flesh into baby-soft skin. But there's a big risk that comes along with it. Sure, she is capable of ressurecting the dead but that doesn't mean that person is coming back in one piece. One moment the person can be dead and then the next moment they're alive but their head is now attached to the body of a golden retriever.
